Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Join us for an exciting 10-week program designed to foster physical, social, and creative development in neurodivergent individuals! Our Tuesday Fitness & Basketball Program provides a supportive, inclusive environment where participants can grow through structured activities tailored to their unique needs and strengths.

Schedule:

1:00 - 2:00 PM: Fitness

Participants will kick off the session with a fitness session designed to boost strength, coordination, and energy levels. Activities may include fun exercises, obstacle courses, and games that promote gross motor skills and physical health in an engaging way.

2:00 - 3:00 PM: Basketball

The second hour focuses on basketball fundamentals, including dribbling, shooting, and teamwork. Through structured drills and group games, participants will develop motor planning, social skills, and confidence while enjoying the sport

Please provide aide if needed.

Participants are welcome to attend either or both hours of the program.

This program is designed for neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other developmental differences. Our trained instructors ensure that activities are adaptable to individual abilities and needs, making this a safe, fun, and enriching experience for all.

Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Location: Salvation Army, Long Beach (3000 Long Beach Blvd, 90807)

Join us for a fun and enriching 10-week program designed to foster creativity, confidence, physical activity, and social connection in neurodivergent individuals! Our Tuesday Basketball & Photography Program offers a dynamic and inclusive environment where participants can explore both athletic and artistic skills through structured, supportive instruction tailored to their individual needs and strengths.

5:00 – 6:00 PM: Basketball

This session offers fundamental basketball instruction, skill-building drills, and inclusive games for all ages and experience levels. From dribbling and passing to teamwork and communication, participants will build confidence and physical coordination in a fun and engaging environment. Activities are modified as needed to support individual learning styles and motor abilities.

6:00 – 7:00 PM: Photography

Led by an experienced instructor with a passion for teaching beginners, this session introduces participants to the art of photography. Using a custom-designed curriculum, students will learn how to capture the world through their unique lens. The program culminates in a final-day Art Gallery Showcase, where participants will display their work for friends and family. Invitations will be provided to celebrate their creativity and progress.

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring and use their own phone or a parent’s phone for taking photos, as there will be a limited number of cameras available for use.

  • Participants are welcome to attend either or both hours of the program.
  • Please provide an aide if one is required for your participant.
  • This program is specifically designed for neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other developmental differences. Our trained staff adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of all participants in a safe, respectful, and empowering space.
