Location: Burrell-MacDonald Park (2516 W Alondra Blvd. Compton, CA, 90220)

Theme: Color & Creativity Week

This vibrant week of camp encourages campers to express themselves through art, music, movement, and creativity in a supportive and inclusive environment designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities. Campers will participate in adaptive sports, sensory-friendly recreation, creative enrichment activities, and social opportunities that promote confidence, self-expression, and community connection.

From colorful art projects to engaging recreational activities, this week is all about creativity, confidence, and fun.

  • Yoga and mindfulness
  • Swim lessons at Gonzalez Park (Tuesday & Thursday)
  • Friday field trip to Color Compton

11:45-12:00- Commute to Color Compton for tour and screen printing workshop 

12:00- 2:00- Color Compton

2:00-2:15 - Commute back to Burrell-MacDonald Park

2:15-2:30- Break/  Hang out

Who Can Participate:

This camp is designed for children, teens, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities who benefit from structured recreation, adaptive programming, movement-based activities, social opportunities, and sensory-friendly support.

Addtional Support Information:

To help create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all participants, camp will maintain approximately a 4:1 camper-to-staff ratio throughout programming and community outings.

Please note that campers who require dedicated 1:1 behavioral, medical, personal care, or safety support must attend camp with their own assigned aide, respite worker, or support person as needed.

Our team is committed to providing adaptive recreation, structured support, and inclusive programming for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities while ensuring each camper receives the level of support necessary for a successful camp experience.

Regional Center social recreation funding may be used for eligible participants.
