Summer Camp Week 9: Summer Send-Off Week

Theme: Summer Send-Off Week

Join us as we celebrate an incredible summer of growth, friendship, learning, and fun! Summer Send-Off Week provides campers with one final opportunity to connect with friends, enjoy their favorite camp activities, and create lasting memories before the school year begins.

This special three-day camp experience is designed specifically for children, teens, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities. Campers will participate in adaptive sports, team challenges, social activities, fitness games, creative projects, and end-of-summer celebrations in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Throughout the week, participants will reflect on their accomplishments, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the confidence, skills, and experiences they have gained throughout the summer.

This week focuses on connection, confidence, teamwork, and celebrating a successful summer together.

Weekly Highlights:

• Adaptive basketball instruction and games

• Team-building activities and cooperative games

• Fitness and recreation activities

• Social skills and friendship-building opportunities

• End-of-summer celebration activities

• Camp awards and recognition opportunities

• Favorite camper-selected activities from throughout the summer

Schedule Overview:

Disclaimer: Exact schedule subject to slight changes. Final schedule will be provided to registered families the week prior to camp.

A detailed schedule will be released once camp planning is finalized. Activities will include a variety of adaptive sports, recreation, social skills development, team challenges, creative projects, and end-of-summer celebration activities.

Who Can Participate:

This camp is designed for children, teens, and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities who benefit from structured recreation, adaptive programming, movement-based activities, social opportunities, and sensory-friendly support.

Additional Support Information:

To help create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all participants, camp will maintain approximately a 4:1 camper-to-staff ratio throughout programming and community outings.

Please note that campers who require dedicated 1:1 behavioral, medical, personal care, or safety support must attend camp with their own assigned aide, respite worker, or support person as needed.

Our team is committed to providing adaptive recreation, structured support, and inclusive programming for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and different abilities while ensuring each camper receives the level of support necessary for a successful camp experience.
