Thanksgiving Camp

Dates: Monday–Tuesday, November 23rd–24th, 2025

Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (early pickup at 11:00 PM for field trip)

Location: Salvation Army – 3000 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA

Ages: 7-18+

Field Trips:

• Tuesday, Nov. 24th – Chef Tech Cooking School

Celebrate the season of gratitude with two days of basketball, teamwork, and community connection! Our Thanksgiving Camp blends fun sports activities with hands-on holiday projects and meaningful field trips, giving campers a chance to learn, give back, and grow in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

Day 1 – Monday, Nov. 24

9:00-9:30- Warm-up & Ice breaker

9:30-10:00- Team Banner Creation 

10:00-10:15- Snack & Break

10:15-11:15- Turkey Themed Fitness Stations

11:15-12:00- Lunch

12:00-1:00- Obstacle Course 

1:00-2:00- Social Skills Activities or Dance Class w/ Straight up abilities

2:00- Parent Pick up

Day 2 – Tuesday, Nov. 25

9:00-9:30- Warm-up & Ice breaker

9:30-10:30- Basketball Drills 

10:30-10:45- Snack & Break

10:45-11:00- Transition to Field Trip

11:00-1:00- Cooking Field Trip/ Lunch (Pizza & Cookies)

1:00-2:00- Freetime/ Parent Pick-up

Important Notes:

• Campers may attend one or both days
• Aides are welcome 
• This camp is inclusive and adaptable for neurodivergent youth
