5-Eleven Hoops

Dates: Every Tuesday, April 1st- June 24th (No class on April 15th)

Time: 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Join us for an exciting 10-week program designed to foster physical, social, and creative development in neurodivergent children! Our Tuesday Basketball & Enrichment Program provides a supportive, inclusive environment where participants can grow through structured activities tailored to their unique needs and strengths.

Schedule:

5:00 - 6:00 PM: Basketball & Fitness

Children will develop their motor skills, coordination, and overall fitness while learning basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork. Through guided practice and games, participants will enhance their ability to follow instructions, collaborate with peers, and build self-confidence. This session also incorporates fun fitness activities to boost physical health, energy levels, and mood.

6:00 - 7:00 PM: Social Skills Program

In addition to the basketball session, students will take part in a Social Skills Group led by a BCBA-in-training, providing a structured yet fun approach to communication, friendship-building, and social-emotional learning.

Please provide aide if needed.

Children are welcome to attend either or both hours of the program.

This program is designed for neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and other developmental differences. Our trained instructors ensure that activities are adaptable to individual abilities and needs, making this a safe, fun, and enriching experience for all.
